Day 48 : mile 1102

Today we got back kn the trail after S. lake Tahoe. Patrick Parael met us for breakfast and gave us a ride to the trailhead.

Day 47 : Mile 1090, South Lake Tahoe

We did the 25 miles to hwy 50 by 2pm, and then got a ride into town. We had chinese buffet and got some gear at the outfitter.

Day 46 : Mile 1066

Today was another pleasant day on the east side of the crest. At times, it felt like we were in the high desert.

Day 45 : Mile 1035

Today started with a beautiful ridge walk near Leavitt peak. We had a really great sled ride on Big Ups Tyvek. 

There was somegreat trail magic at sonora pass. The mountains to the east reminded me of montana.

Day 44: mile 1007

Tonight we are camped on a nice ridge near Leavitt Peak. There we a lot of mosquitos earlier today. There were a lot of fish in Falls Creek and Wilma Lake. I found a morel for dinner tonight.

Day 43 : mile 978, kerrick creek

Today was a lot of up and down (7000 feet) though northern yosemite. We caught some nice fish in piute creek just above benson lake.

Day 42 : mile 950

Today was mostly a zero spent taking a bus to and from ypsemite valley. I think it was worth it because crash, eastbound and big  ups had never been.

Aftergetting back, we hiked a few miles past Glen Aulin.
