Day 102 : mile 2334

Today had excellent views of Mt Rainer, Dewey lake and the ridges near chinook pass. We found some nice boletes we mixed with our pasta side dinners.

Day 101 : mile 2312, Two Lake

After a nice stay at White Pass last night, we were ready to get hiking!

Day 99 : mile 2286

Goat rocks wilderness made a good showing today. We had great weather for the knifes edge and fantastic views!

Day 98 : mile 2266, sheep lake

Excellent Lava spring was a highlight this morning, as was the abundance of huckberries. We climbed up this evening into the goat rocks wilderness.

Day 97 : mile 2242, Killen Creek

We stayed in the county park at Trout Lake last night, and got up for some delicious huckleberry pancakes and eggs at the cafe. A trail angel gave us a ride back out to the trailhead and we did a nice 15 miles around Mt Adams.

Day 100 : mile 2292, White Pass

We had a short walk down to white pass this morning and then got a room at the lodge here. The reaupply at the Kracker Barrel is ok, but a little expensive.

Day 96 : mile 2226, Trout Lake

We hiked through the Indian Heaven wilderness on our way to forest road 23, where we hitched into Trout Lake. A nice logger picked us up after about 30 minutes.
